Breading Mix

 

Ingredients
  • 2 c sorghum flour
  • 6 T corn starch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. To use, spoon out the amount needed to coat meat for deep frying.
  3. Meat/fish can be dipped in beaten egg before dredging for a thicker, crispier coating.
  4. Store any unused mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
  5. May also be frozen.

This flavorful mix fries up crisp and golden. Use it for chicken, fish, pork chops or chicken-fried steak!
