Ketchup
Ingredients
- 2 cups canned or fresh tomatoes
- 4 ounces tomato paste
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/8 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 4 cloves minced garlic(or to taste) -- you can omit this or add a different spice, if desired
- sea salt to taste
Directions
- In food processor combine all ingredients.
- Process until smooth and well blended.
- Place blended mixture into medium saucepan.
- Simmer uncovered, stirring constantly, until desired mixture is achieved.
