Homemade Sorbet
I posted the recipe below a while back, and I've been changing and revising and have come up with a new and improved version.
Ingredients
- 1 can frozen juice concentrate (flavor of your choice)
- 1 1/2 cups very hot water
- 1 tsp xanthan gum
- 1 Tbsp sugar
Directions
- Put juice concentrate in blender.
- Put water in microwave on high for 2 minutes (this gets it to boiling in my microwave).
- Mix xanthan gum and sugar together.
- When the water is done, pour the xanthan gum/sugar in and stir till it becomes thicker.
- Then pour mixture into the blender.
- Blend it up with the juice and pour it into a container(s) for the freezer.
